Text Message Terms
ChapterIQ sends text messages on behalf of chapter-based organizations, such as purchasing groups, trade associations, and nonprofit networks, to the people those organizations invite to their meetings. This page explains the program. It applies to any text message that comes from ChapterIQ, whichever organization it is sent for.
What the messages are
The program is called ChapterIQ Meeting Notifications. Messages are about meetings and events you have been invited to by your organization. They include invitations, reminders when you have not yet responded, confirmations of your RSVP, logistics such as a change of time or location, check-in details on the day of the meeting, and a brief follow-up afterward. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
Sample messages
Eastern Montana Chapter: The August lunch meeting is Thu Aug 21 at 11:30 am at the Stockmen's Club. Reply YES to confirm or NO to decline. Reply STOP to opt out.
Eastern Montana Chapter: You're confirmed for Thursday's lunch meeting. Show this message at the door to check in. Reply STOP to opt out.
How you opt in
You receive these messages only if you have agreed to. You can agree by checking the text message box on an RSVP page, by texting JOIN to the number your organization gave you, or by confirming a request that your organization sent you. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of membership in your organization or of attending any meeting.
How often they arrive
Frequency depends on your organization's meeting schedule. Most people receive between two and four messages for each meeting they are invited to, and nothing in between. Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no more. Stopping applies to every organization that sends to you through ChapterIQ. To start again, reply START or opt in again from an RSVP page.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, or write to info@chapteriqevents.com. For questions about a specific meeting, your organization's chapter manager is the fastest route, and their name is on the invitation.
Carriers
Messages are sent through a toll-free number and are supported by major United States carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile number and your opt-in record are used only to deliver the messages described here. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Our Privacy Policy has the rest.
